Valerie Tripp is a children's book author. She is best know for her work with the American Girl series, having written many books in the series including the Felicity, Josefina, Kit, and part of Samantha's series. She has also written all the "Best Friends" stories so far. She has created many characters, and the American Girl films have all been based on her characters.
