Valerie Cruz (born 18 July 1976 in Elizabeth, New Jersey) is an American actress.

Valerie is of Cuban ancestry. She attended Florida State University and received a BFA theatre degree. At one point she dated Robbie Williams.[1]

She has appeared in films such as Cellular and played Grace Santiago in Nip/Tuck. She played a main character in Nip/Tuck, but she left the show just after the first season.[2] She has made guest appearances in series such as Grey's Anatomy and Las Vegas.

She has recently been cast as "Connie Murphy", a tough Chicago cop, in SciFi Channel's adaptation of The Dresden Files.
