Valerian Sergeevich Sokolov (Russian: Валериан Сергеевич Соколов) (born August 30, 1946 in village Shikhobylovo, Urmarsky District, Chuvash ASSR) is a former Soviet bantamweight amateur boxer who won gold in Boxing at the 1968 Summer Olympics. He trained at Dynamo in Cheboksary. Sokolov was awarded the Order of the Badge of Honor in 1969.
