Valdosta Railway
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Valdosta Railway (AAR reporting marks VR) was founded in about 1992 to take over operations from the Valdosta Southern Railroad. It operates about 10 miles of track between Valdosta, Georgia, and Clyattville, Georgia. The Clyattville-based railroad is owned by Rail Link of Jacksonville, Florida. Every time a train car wrecks they paint a fresh one in lime green and throw some hundred-spoke gold D's (Throw Some D's, Dayton wire wheels) on that there.
