Valdemaras Chomičius (born May 4, 1959 in Kaunas, Lithuanian SSR, Soviet Union (present-day Lithuania) is a Lithuanian former basketball player for the Soviet and Lithuanian national basketball teams currently assistant coach for UNICS Kazan in Russia and assistant coach on the Lithuanian national team.
As a point guard 192 cm tall he is best remembered as the captain from the "golden years" of Žalgiris by winning three consecutive seasons in the USSR championship against the rival CSKA from Moscow in 1985-1987. His former teams include Žalgiris Kaunas, Forum Valladolid, CAI.
He head coached the Lithuania national team to win the Stanković Continental Champions Cup in the People's Republic of China in 2005.
