[edit] re: Thanks (and GTRI)

You're welcome :) What kind of stuff do you do at GTRI? --Pentasyllabic 18:52, 7 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Old Lighthouse

Alexandria was famed for two great monuments, the Lighthouse of Alexandria and the Library of Alexandria — in modern times, the light of the famous lighthouse has been symbolic of the enlightenment of the library. Bartholdi originally intended Lady Liberty as a great lighthouse, and in fact it was originally planned to be built in Egypt by the Suez canal. Lady Liberty as built in Upper New York Bay was even a working lighthouse for its first few years. And, in the peculiar way my mind works, that makes "Pharos" a good aspiration for a New Yorker trying to increase the quotient of knowledge in the world.--Pharos 16:52, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Spidey 3 music

Look at the end of Merchandise of Spider-Man 3. There's a link to a new Wikipedia article, Spider-Man 3 (soundtrack). Hope this works for you! —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 13:48, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

No worries, I just added it a few minutes after you posted the link. —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 14:00, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

I wasn't aware, either. See the film article's talk page for the new plan. —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 21:11, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

My pleasure. If you have any questions regarding how to write an article, let me know. I'm available to help out. —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 21:27, 29 March 2007 (UTC)
I started out the same way, with similar baby steps. Just keep your eyes open and don't be afraid to ask questions on articles' talk pages about how to do something. Be humble for now; you can afford to be arrogant later. :) —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 21:36, 29 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] IP sharing

I know what you mean, but can you link me to an example? I think that there's a decision process involved in making sure public IPs (high schools, universities, etc.) don't get blocked too long so the editing process can be encouraged anywhere. Share an example, and I'm sure I can help you. —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 16:24, 30 March 2007 (UTC)

Your answers lies here: Wikipedia:Blocking IP addresses. Had to dig around a little to find it. —Erik (talkcontribreview) - 16:31, 30 March 2007 (UTC)
