[edit] Pictures
I have a much clearer picture of the same petroglyphs, taken last summer, which I'm happy to release under CC. Would anybody object if I uploaded it in the place of the one we are using at the moment? Squeezeweasel 13:23, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
- Please upload it to Commons rather than here, and under a different image name (add a "_2" if nothing else), then just change this article to reference it. It's a little disconcerting when my personal galleries display pictures taken by other people, although I suppose I shouldn't mind getting credit for other people's work... :-) Stan 17:48, 5 January 2007 (UTC)
Oh, I also have much clearer pictures and lots of them. I did not upload because it would overwhelm the text. I see no problem with you replacing it with a better photo. Go ahead. If people don't like your version they can always revert. Do place it in Commons as Stan said. Alexf(t/c) 14:20, 6 January 2007 (UTC)
- One of the cool aspects of commons is that you can upload as many as you want, and people interested can link to there and groove on the whole collection. I was in VoF today in fact, doing a cross-country scramble through the slickrock maze, and took a couple hundred more pics, including action shots of people picking their way through some difficult terrain.
