Talk:Valhalla Herred

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

As author of the Valhalla Herred article, and the Vikings-re-enactment article that is supposed to be merged with, can I ask why ?

I was hoping to encourage each of the local groups that make up The Vikings to create their own wiki page and link them back to the main society page.

I felt this would be better than expanding the the main page and then struggling to keep it up to date as the information for the groups is subject to change.

Hello, and thanks for contributing to Wikipedia. As it stands, the Valhalla Herred article is quite short, and since the main The Vikings (reenactment) article is not particularly long either, it may be a good idea to merge them, although it is of course just a suggestion. As for your last remark, I am afraid I do not see why that page would be harder to edit than this page. Thanks again and keep up the good work! --Nehwyn 15:35, 6 October 2006 (UTC)
Hi

you make a good point, but Valhalla is the group I personally am associated with, and I would feel uncomfortable about featuring my own sub group as part of the main society entry unless other groups were similarly represented.--Guthroth 15:51, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] i dont think a merge is a good idea

Well, in my opinion i like to keep them seperated. Re-Enactment Groups are independant. The Group is not one among others, no its one of the first and still important. So this is a good to have it seperated. cheers Timm —The preceding unsigned comment was added by The A Timm (talk • contribs) 11:45, 20 March 2007 (UTC).
