Vail M. Pittman

Vail Montgomery Pittman (b. September 17, 1880, Vicksburg, Mississippi - d. January 29, 1964, Las Vegas, Nevada) was a Democrat Governor of Nevada.
He was elected the Lieutenant Governor of Nevada in 1942. He was a candidate in primary for Senator from Nevada in 1944. He became the Governor when Edward P. Carville resigned in 1945. Pittman served until 1951.
Vail Pittman was the brother of Key Pittman, a Senator from Nevada.
