Vaijapur is a city and a municipal council in Aurangabad district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.

Vaijapur is located at 19.92° N 74.73° E[1]. It has an average elevation of 514 metres (1686 feet).

It also has a medium size project on Nārangi-Sārangi river junction, for water supply to the Vaijapur city.

As of 2001 India censusGRIndia, Vaijapur had a population of 37,002. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%.
