Hello, Vaio12, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some links that can help you get started editing:

And for more detailed information:

Please see Wikipedia's no personal attacks policy. Comment on content, not on the contributor; personal attacks damage the community and deter users. Note that continued personal attacks may lead to blocks for disruption. Please stay cool and keep this in mind while editing. Thank you. Ryūlóng 23:05, 30 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Please

Don't go. Just take a deep breath and calm down. I've had articles I've created deleted. It happens. Don't take it so personally. It isn't an indictment of you or what you created. It's just that Wikipedia has inclusion guidelines. We cannot include every family, even one who is prominent in a certain area. In the Eau Claire, Wisconsin area, a man named L.E. Phillips donated lots and lots of land. But yet he doesn't have an article here, nor will he. It just needs to be more notable than a prominent family in your area. And has been said, yes they are related to Napoleon but so are lots of other families. It just isn't enough for us. But it doesn't mean that you don't have alot to contribute. Of course we care about history. We have an entire History portal as well as multiple History Wikiprojects. So. My advice would be. Take a look around. See what we include and what we don't. And go from there. But please don't take a deletion personally. We don't want to lose your ideas. --Woohookitty(meow) 01:43, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

[edit] re:Please

Are you an administrater? I am again requesting that the voting stop on my Richard Family page and that it be deleted immediatly. I no longer want to contribute and I want my work to be removed. Since I wrote it and I want to remove it I see no further need for voting. Thank you. Vaio12 03:43, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

No, I am not. All you have to do is put "{{db-author}}" at the top of Richard Family and it will be dealt with. Other than that, the AFD process will continue until an administrator deletes it. Ryūlóng 03:48, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
However, now that the article is protected from editting, you cannot do that, and you must just wait for the deletion discussion to take its course. Ryūlóng 03:51, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
