Vadtal is a small village in the Kedha district of Gujarat, India.

By the request of Joban Pagi, Kuberbhai Patel, Ranchhodbhai Patel, Narayan Giri etc., the devotees of Vadtal, Lord Swaminarayan got constructed a huge temple by Brahmanand Swami and Aksharanand Swami and installed LaxmiNarayan in the middle, Dharmadev, Bhaktimata and Vasudev in the northern side, adhaKrishna and an image of His own named Harikrishna in the southern side in Vikram Samvat year 1881 on the twelfth day of the bright half of the month of Kartik (Sud 12), on Thursday, November 3, 1824 A.D.

The swaminarayan temple at vadtal is very famous for the power the idols installed over there by the lord himself. Once the idol of hari krishna maharaj was talking with the acharya ( the heirs to the lord's brothers ). People who go over here for prayers often find themselves in immense happiness and tranquility in front of the idols of laxminarayan dev and Hari Krishna . The prayers done here by a faithful devotee are often proved to be doing true.

There are many active groups in the area of vadtal which try as much as possible to spread the humanity and good virtues of the lord. These groups often meet every Full Moon Day called Poonam at vadtal at there ashrams near temple .During these days they go for prayers at temple and cook food for the devotees who come for prayers(darshan). It is considered very auspicious to serve the devotees because if you serve the devotees ,it implies you served god. Among them one of the most active ashrams is Nathji Icharaam Shukal founded by the faithful devotees. The devotees consider Nathji Icharaam shukal and Ishvar Pandya as there guru who showed them god. It is a very true group , as everyone follows god and never consider their gurus as god. The gurus never considered themselves as god or even spread the word that they are godlike. They would say they are just " Nimit Matraa " meaning they have come here to earth just to help god spread goodness.
