Vadakkankulam is a small town in Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu state, India. Its notable attractions are the Holy Family church in which the clothes and belongings of the Christian martyr, Devasahayam Pillai, are kept. These belongings are presented at the church every August 15, which is the feast day of the Assumption of Mary. At present the president of vadakkankulam is Mr.John Kennedy......he is working for the prosperity of the village...this man is famous in the village because of his loyality and sincerity...he doesnt get any bribe from people so he is famous in that village
