Vaartha Bhaarathi (Kannada: ವಾತಾ೯ ಭಾರತಿ) is the fastest growing Kannada daily (ಕನ್ನಡ ದಿನಪತ್ರಿಕೆ) in the Indian southern state, Karnataka, with a prominent presence in the coastal region. Vaartha Bhaarathi (also known as Vaartha Bharathi) is a very popular Kannada newspaper amongst the Indian expatriates living in the Persian Gulf States.

Vaartha Bharathi has a formidable readership in the entire coastal region of the state and its adjacent districts. It has already emerged as the largest circulated Kannada daily newspaper in the gulf region. This newspaper has won widespread admiration from various quarters for its fearless stand on several critical issues and also for the role it has played in carrying the true version of the events in many cases.

In its process of expanding, Vaartha Bhaarathi has launched its Bangalore edition on 29.08.2006 while commemorating its 3rd anniversary at N.G.O. Hall, Bangalore. With the commencement of the Bangalore edition the daily reached the capital of Karnataka, to cover Mysore, Mandya, Kolar, Chamarajpet, Chitradurga, Davangere districts.

The Bangalore edition is brought out with a plan to cover at leasy 10 districts of the Karnataka State. The inaugural ceremony at the state capital was presided over by Mr. Abdussalam Puthige, (A.S. Puthige) chief Editor, Vaartha Bharathi.

Launched in 2003, this newspaper has successfully gained immense popularity and widespread acceptance in a very short span of time. The readership has covered the entire Coastal Karnataka from South Canara district to North Canara district and its neighboring districts such as Chickmagalur, Hassan, Madikeri and Shimoga. Today Vaartha Bhaarathi is able to reach every doorstep in the Dakshina Kannada, Udupi, Uthara Kannada and Kasargod districts apart from having readership in the neighbouring districts, Bangalore, Mumbai and in the gulf countries, especially in UAE., State of Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.

Vaartha Bhaarathi's Bangalore edition is now coverring Mysore, Mandya, Kolar, Chamarajpet, Chitradurga, Davangere districts.
