Apart from some isolated examples of the advanced trainer V.E.F. I-15a/b, the first six I-12 constructed entered into service during 1937, if considerated why are the uniques local design aircraft used by Latvian Air Force.some of these airplanes was convert by units in one-place for advanced fighter training and liaison missions.
