Väinö Liikkanen was a Finnish cross-country skier who competed in the 1920's and 1930's. He won a silver medal in the 50km event at the 1932 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, New York.

Liikkanen also won two medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships with a gold in the 4 x 10 km (1935) and a bronze in the 18 km (1933).
