UzDaewooAuto
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
UzDaewooAvto was set up as a joint venture between Daewoo and the Uzbek government located in Andijan, Uzbekistan. In 2005, the stake owned by the bankrupt South Korean firm was taken over by the state-owned Uzavtoprom (also known as Uzavtosanoat), which took full control of the company. Current vehicles produced are the Matiz, the Daewoo Nexia, the Daewoo Lacetti and the Damas van. Around half UzDaewoo's output is exported to Russia.
