UWA Hardcore Wrestling is a Canadian independent professional wrestling promotion, operating out of Mississauga, Ontario. The UWA is run by Osiris and Joe E. Slick, and stages shows on a monthly basis at St. John's Hall in Mississauga.

The Grand Prix Tournament is an eight-man tournament. The winner receives the Grand Prix championship belt for that year and is dubbed 20__ Grand Prix Champion..

The 2006 Grand Prix Tournament was a Double Header, held on October 27 and 28th and won by Sonjay Dutt

[edit] King of the Deathmatch Tournament

On February 24, 2007, UWA Hardcore will be holding their first annual King of the Deatmatch Tournament. This event is scheduled to take place at the Bolton Fairgrounds in Bolton, Ontario and will include the following participants: Osiris, Asylum, Bishop, Mickey Knight, Blue Jabroni, Nick Watts, Lionel Knight and Ruckus.

---First Round Match Types:---

  • Four Corners of Pain Death Match

Both competitors will be bound together with a twelve foot strap. Located in each corner will be a weapon of mass destruction. These corners will feature the following items; a barbed wire board, a spike board , a 4 X 8 foot sheet of glass, and a corner with running fans with the safety guards removed. The fan’s controls will be set to maximum to ensure extra pain and suffering. A pinfall or submission cannot be made until all of the for corners have been used.

Osiris vs. Asylum

Winner = Osiris

  • Stairway to Hell Death Match

Hung above the ring will be a barbed wire bat, a roll of barbed wire, and a Tai Pei death glove covered in thumb tacks and glass . The object to this match is to obtain the weapons hung above the ring and destroy your opponent with them. Surrounding the ring will be barbed wire tables.

Bishop vs. Mickey Knight

Winner = Bishop

  • Fans Bring The Weapons Death Match

In the past UWA has promoted two very insane Fans Bring the Weapons Matches. Both matches were absolutely brutal but we expect our fans to outdo themselves once again. It is up to the diabolical UWA fans to decide the fate of the two unlucky men battling in this match up.

Blue Jabroni vs. Nick Watts

Winner = Blue Jabroni

  • Tables Ladders and Chairs Death Match

To date one of the most brutal matches in UWA history was a T.L.C. match between Chris Bishop and Ruckus. During that epic battle, fans witnessed some of the most insane manoeuvres ever performed in our ring. History will once again repeat itself but this time in the former UWA arena.

Lionel Knight vs. Ruckus

Winner = Ruckus

---Second Round Match Types---

  • Texas Death Match

Texas Death matches might very well be the most brutal form of wrestling imaginable. Anything and everything will be used in this disgusting battle. Glass, Thumbtacks, Barbed Wire, cactus and many more unpleasant instruments of destruction promise to shred the competitors to pieces.

Osiris vs. Black Jabroni

Winner = Osiris

  • Capture the Flag Scaffold Death Match

This match will feature two corresponding 20 foot scaffolds. The scaffolds will be connected with large steel piping. The object to this match is to obtain two of the three flags that will be positioned on the scaffolding. Located in the ring will be pyramids of tables. This match promises to be high flying anarchy.

Bishop vs. Ruckus

Winner = Bishop

---Tournament Finals---

  • No-Ropes Barbwire

History tells us that some of the most violent matches take place when the ring ropes are removed and replaced with barbed wire. Undoubtedly this match promises to be the most brutal match of the night. To give this match an extra sense of danger we will leave the scaffold erect around the ring. Words cannot describe the brutality that will surely ensue during the coarse of this match. Without question this match promises to be the most violent match of the night.
