Usage:

{{subst:uw-tpv1}}
{{subst:uw-tpv1|Article}} references a specific article
{{subst:uw-tpv1|Article|Additional text}} adds text onto the end of the message instead of "Thank you"
  • This template has been carefully designed based on guidelines by the user warnings project.
  • For usage instructions regarding this template, see documentation.
  • Please discuss the general visual appearance of these templates (for example, the image in the top-left corner) on the user warning talk page.
  • Please refer to the index of message templates before using any template on user talk pages to warn a user. Applying the best template available for your purpose may help reduce confusion from the message you are sending.
  • Please remember to substitute the template using {{subst:uw-tpv1}} rather than {{uw-tpv1}}.
  • This template uses a parser function. To give greater detail to your message, you may add the article name and some additional text to the end of the template.
  • Optionally, add |subst=subst: to the end of the template to reduce the code in the final output: {{subst:uw-tpv1|Article|Additional text|subst=subst:}}.
  • This should however only be done if you use the Article parameter of the template. There is a currently investigated bug on the MediaWiki software that breaks the template if you omit this parameter and use |subst=subst:.
