Utpaladeva (900 ?) was one of the great teachers of the philosophy of Kashmir Shaivism.

Utpaladeva, an influential philosopher-theologian of the Pratyabhijna school of Shaiva thought composed the Ishvara-pratyabhijna-karika, or 'Verses on the Recognition of the Lord'
