Vishu123

Thanks for ur comments on aksi_great.It was a pleasant shock for me.
Firstly, I'm not endorsing anybody. Dnyaneshwar's quotes about Marathi language have got nothing to do with the page on Yadava dynasty. He didn't claim descent from Yadavas either -- he was born in a Deshastha Brahmin. I've already explained why I didn't include "throw of Kannada rule by Yadavas".
Dnyaneshwar being a deshastha bramhin or maratha isnt a issue. It is very well known fact that Jijabai and Dnyaneshwar are descendents of Yadavas. Dnyaneshwar's quotes are relevant there. I am surprised to see that after going through the research on Yadavas u dont know this fact! I condemn ur indifference to our language and history. I didnt ask u to support my over zealousness but at least support what is true and obvious. Be truthful did u really carried out the research? If yes how come u didnt know this fact? Or did u only read the books prescribed by Mr.Kannambadi?
What explanation did u give about 'throwing our kannada rule'. Just what??? yadavas threw the kannada rule, its specifically mentioned there!!! I didnt expect this from u. U think Chalukyas were thrown by Yadavas than mention that Yadavas threw Kannada chalukyas! And how did u know that it was chalukyas? U assumed it,isnt it. What is the logic behind not including this info? Apart from 'peer-pressure' of Mr.Kannambadi. I dare u,if u are really impartial and care for wikipedia ethos add back that info. Your explaination about not editing chalukyas and Rashtrakutas are unfortunate.I wonder how come a extremist is dear to you than ur history and motherland. Your goof-ups are meant to facilitate Mr.Kannambadi. I am depressed by ur behavior.
You very well know the link u gave doesnt have anything about dubious ,rationalistic citations. Should I bang my head now? I dont want to talk with that psychopath now. 59.95.14.198 06:48, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Ok i looked at meditation link only to get confused about how to do it. Can someone tell me exactly where to end up the saga of dubious citations used by Mr.Kannambadi? just one exact way to do it?59.95.14.198 07:04, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Chalukya dynasty

Sir, I have a request to make. A user called dbkasar whom you have in the past had atleast one communication with Dbkasar has been making edits to this page using a book he claims gives descendents of Chalukyas .He has been adviced not to use original research regarding the same issue in the past. This is a Marathi book he says. He is also providing a web page with no apparent author that claims a certian Saint in Maharashtra is a direct descendent of Pulakesi I of 7th century, (but dates this saints chronology back to as 1100 AD). Clearly these are not statements from a a scholar or historian. Can you please take a look into this matter. These edits have been going on for many months by this user.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 14:47, 10 January 2007 (UTC) Here are the sources of the citations he has provided.

thanks.Dineshkannambadi 17:02, 10 January 2007 (UTC) I have adviced him not to use Marathi language books or blog sites for citations. Please help out here. This user has been earlier adviced by others not to use original research w.r.t Maratha clans etc.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 22:53, 10 January 2007 (UTC)

Damn this Mr.Kannambadi. This idiot is going on insulting Marathi citations and ur inaction is like a green signal for this psycopath. How mean and cheap this guy is, what makes him think that kannada writers are greatest and Marathi writers are nothing. You better warn him to shut his mouth else I am not going to tolerate his dirt any more.
U asked about Dnyaneshwar here is the link [1] Of course ask Mr.Kannambadi for the nod!!

The Yadavas extended their authority over a large territory, practised religious tolerance, patronised the Marathi language - which received the status of a court-language - and included in their clan the great saint-poet Dnyaneshwar - the pioneer of the bhakti cult in Maharashtra. In the 9th century, the Yadavas had their capital at Chandor (Nasik district); this was later transferred to Deogiri by Bhillam c.AD 1187.

I will definately follow he links u provided. what about 'overthrew the rule of kannada'?Dont avoid!! 59.95.3.193 05:05, 11 January 2007 (UTC)

Rashtrakuta

An interesting development. I have received two more very useful books

  • History of Rashtrakutas - Pandit Bisheshwar Nath Reu
  • History of India - John Keay

This in addition to my existing books by Romila Thapar, Suryanath Kamath will give us overall better picture. There are many interesting aspects of this empire, their migration from North India, creating small chiefdoms in central India and finally a great Empire from present day Karnataka, their reverse migration back to Rajasthan covering a total of more than 1000 years etc. This book brings out research by C.V. Vaidya who Vishu was quoting from his Marathi books and info from several other scholars previously unavaliable to me. If Vishu123 agrees not to indulge in edit wars, I promise to bring the full picture of this great migration from Kannauj/Punjab to Karnataka and back. This article may have several subarticles for all the small chiefdoms that they built on the way in central India and promises to be one of the best articles on Indian History. For this to happen, Vishu123 will first have to give up his hatred towards me and Kannada people in general, stop using native language sources which convey no meaning to most of the world and be patient. Please discuss this with him. I dont want this page to go the Seuna way, locked up for ever with no progress. Eventually, these locks certianly dont help the history of Maharashtra nor that of India. Fianlly even if he agrees to avoid edit wars, It will take me a couple of months to put all this together but will be worth every minute of it. After all this empire promises to be in some ways truly the "History of India" in the first millenium. thanks.Dineshkannambadi 16:25, 13 January 2007 (UTC)

Hello. Thanks a lot for evading the block. I had requested sarvabhaum tp give his id password and he's obliged. I hope my usage of his id is ok as adviced by luntaic satin and others.
I am providing English citations for my additions. I hope u will not block me on the behest of Mr.Kannambadi. Thank you. I want u to comment on use of Marathio books and google books, which BTW u have used too.
I request u to be impartial and refined. Sarvabhaum 07:20, 14 January 2007 (UTC)
Is it legal for one user to use anothers ID.? Or is Vishu123 just another sock of Sarvabhaum? Utcursch has already commented on the use of Marathi books on the talk page for Vishu123. Blnguyen has shown his distaste for snippets that provide no context. If you really have an English language book, then you should not need the Marathi book or google snippets. Also please quote your book, its identification number, publisher, etc so I can order it. I should be able to receive it in 5-10 days. Eventually, we will have to bring the contents of all authors (English) together. Since I will be the one owner of all books available, I can compare the quoted pages as verification. thanks.Dineshkannambadi
Sir, Sarvabhaum is back to tagging Seuna page as soon as his block expired.thanks.Dineshkannambadi 15:10, 14 January 2007 (UTC)

For all your efforts

Yadavas of devagiri

Hello, It seems Kannada was a court language at Seunachandra times. I can bet it was not during Ramachandra and Mahadeva (Yadavas of devagiri). I am tired of this fights. The best solution is that we churn out another article for Yadavas of devagiri (ramchandra and mahadev) and keep the original article as yadava dynasty. I will be waiting for ur answer and then edit these articles plus chalukyas and rashtrakutas.Once again i request u to be impartial.

if u r a maharashtrian can u plz help me writing article about Maharashtra geetMaharashtra anthem?Plz help doing the translations. Sarvabhaum 04:36, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Thanks. The 'baghu asot' is close to unoffical anthem of Maharashtra state. Its fine if u want to move it to Maharashtra geet. I dont know the song ur talking about. Is it Mangal desha rakat desha..?Sarvabhaum 17:51, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

Ur edits

Thanks for ur edits on yadavas. I have no objection of inclusion of kannada script since many historians have claimed the earlier rulers were having kannada as a official language. However I still maintain that Yadavas of devagiri (Ramchandra and Mahadev) were 100% Marathi rulers and absolutely no evidence is available to prove that they had Kannada as a court-language. I had asked u about seperatation of Devagiriche yadavas from yadava dynasty?
Similarly I have C.V.Vaidya, Kolarkar, Bhandarkar, Rajwade(who has explicitly stated that Rashtrakutas have had Maharashtri as court language) vouching upon presence of Marathi/Maharashtri during Rashtrakuta period in addition with Britannica encyclopedia citation. I am adding Marathi script into rashtrakutas page. I shall be adding C.V's citation on other pages soon. I hope the other side shall show consideration as I have. Sarvabhaum 18:23, 15 January 2007 (UTC)
if u'll allow I wish to create a new article about Yadavas of devagiri seperate of Yadava dynasty. Sarvabhaum 18:30, 15 January 2007 (UTC)

I didnt find Omkar verma attesting Kannada to yadava rule. In fact he says Yadavas were themselves Marathi and their rule is important chapter in Marathi. Sarvabhaum 06:16, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Hi

Hello. I'm sorry I couldn't reply earlier. Was busy with college work. I still feel that Mrtag and Sarvabhaum were the same person or involved in meatpuppetry. Their writing styles are similar too. But anyways, Sarvabhaum's block duration has expired now. I won't object if you unblock Mrtag per AGF. - Aksi_great (talk) 14:02, 16 January 2007 (UTC)

Dear Utcursch, why did u revert my edits on yadavas of devagiri? Can u plz explain. The Kannada origin thing is extra long and needs to be trimmed.Plz allow me do so without changing the meaning. I request u to reply my earlier querries as well. I have used English citations wherever possible but for what i didnt get any i used some Marathi citations. I request u to ask Mr.Kannambadi to stop removing cited info at chalukya. If u dont have time plz refer me to another senior wikipedian. I have trimmed thats ection without changing the info.If ur not OK plz u trim it urself.Sarvabhaum 18:16, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
Mr.Kannambadi is again back with his fictitious rules and deletign cited info at rashtrakutas and chalukya.Sarvabhaum 07:12, 17 January 2007 (UTC)
Ok I will expand the Maratha origin section. I do have C.V.Vaidya's English book and I shall be quoting it too along with Marathi books . He is even removing Mr.Dbkasar's citations and before anyone block me for that, let me clarify tht i am not him.
The root cause is that Mr.Kannambadi's books though in English have an kannada mindset, hence its obvious to use Marathi books so as to reflect the Marathi pov as well.I will not respond or indulge in fights with Mr.Kannambadi. sarvabhaum

Chalukya/Rashtrakuta

I have located the English book that Sarvabhaum was quoting as reference material (equivalent of his Marathi book) for his citations. I have requested for the page numbers for his citations. I shall pick up the book to read it and verify.

Author: Vaidya, Chintaman Vinayak, 1861-1938. Title: History of medieval Hindu India (being a history of India from 600 to 1200 A.D.) ... Published: Poona City, The Oriental Book Supplying Agency, 1921-26. Location: Bird-2nd Floor Call Number: DS457 .V3 Library has: v.3 Dineshkannambadi 02:35, 19 January 2007 (UTC)

No problem! :) Sarvabhaum 17:11, 19 January 2007 (UTC)
Sarvabhum threw in a page number for one citation, not for another. Also neither of the books have ID or year of publication. So I have no option but to revert. He continues to use a Marathi book on Rashtrakuta which I have removed. His citations on Chalukya will be verified shortly for the page numbers he provides. thanks.Dineshkannambadi 13:52, 20 January 2007 (UTC)
Utcursch enough is enough. this self confessed history expert is removing even the English content at chalukya and rashtrakutas. He makes his own rules. Who the hell he is to comment on Marathi language. How dare he? Is wikipedia property of his father? What is this?U ppl were acting tough on me and why letting this fool untouched? He is continuously threatening me and bullying me. I am losing my cool now. Who the hell is he to say His citations on Chalukya will be verified shortly for the page numbers he provides ?What does he think of himself? I will teach that loser a lesson he will never forget. Sarvabhaum

Please try filing a case at Wikipedia:Mediation Cabal. If that fails to resolve the dispute, try Wikipedia:Requests for comment. I'm a little busy in life these days and not very active until next week. utcursch | talk 07:19, 21 January 2007 (UTC)

Project News
  • Project tagging:After a brief edit war over the addition of {{WP India}} to ancient archaeological sites now located in Pakistan, a "pre" parameter was introduced to remove the ROI flag from the template for pre-1947 articles, following discussion. After another large discussion on ANI alleging that the automated tagging by Ganeshbot and LostBot was "nationalistic", Ganeshbot was briefly blocked. Currently, the bots are again in action.
  • Swastika on Hinduism templates:Recently, an extremely large and at times emotional debate broke out regarding the use of the swastika on Hinduism templates, given its association with Nazism. As a result, {{Hindu Links}} now contains an educational message about the use of the swastika, as discussion on a more permanent resolution continues.

List of famous people responsible for a death

This page was not propected against recreation. In fact, Drini's edit summary on the recreation is an invitation to redo the list from scratch. While I find the list not very useful, it is a likely out-of-process DRV candidate if it gets protected. I recommend removing the template you added. Cheers, NoSeptember 13:03, 21 January 2007 (UTC)
