Utah State Route 128 begins near Moab, Utah and follows the Colorado River almost to the Colorado state line before turning North and terminating at Interstate 70 near Cisco, Utah. SR 128 features famous scenery having served as backdrops for numerous western movies and commercials. It is commonly called "the river road" by locals.
The highway passes through several notable landmarks including Castle Valley, Professor Valley, Onion Creek, Fisher Towers, Dewey Bridge and Cisco.
