My username comes from the inspiring Colorado Plateau country in southern Utah. I currently live in Phoenix, Arizona.

I hold a Master of Arts degree in American History from the University of Utah where my emphasis was Environmental history.

Ohio was my residence for the first 22 years of my life. Since then I've lived in Utah, Virginia, Arizona, and Minnesota, with shorter stints in New York and Colorado. I've traveled throughout the Americas (Canada to Argentina), been as far west as Hawaii, and traveled through northern and central Europe.
