USS Constellation (CC-2)

USS Constellation (CC-2) would have been the third ship of that name in the United States Navy, but was cancelled prior to completion.
A Lexington-class battle cruiser, her keel was laid at Newport News, Virginia, in August 1920, but the class was cancelled in 1923 by the Washington Naval Treaty of 1922.

- Machinery, 180,000 shp (134 MW) General Electric geared turbines with electric drive, 4 screws
- Speed, 35 knots (65 km/h)
- Complement 1500 officers and men
