USS Carondelet

There have been two ships of the United States Navy named USS Carondelet:
- The first USS Carondelet was a gunboat on the Mississippi River during the U.S. Civil War.
- The second USS Carondelet was a gunboat participating in the Korea expedition 1871. James DOUGHERTY on board the U.S.S. Carondelet won a medal of Honor as, being wounded several times, Dougherty invariably returned to duty, presenting an example of constancy and devotion to the flag.
- The third USS Carondelet (IX-136) was a tanker in the Pacific Ocean during World War II.
