Usilampatti (Tamil: உசிலம்பட்டி) is a city and a municipality in Madurai district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is one of the comparatively rich cities in India. It has a very active business district and an excellent school district. It is also notoriously famous for some violent caste clashes.
