Wikipedia:User prerogatives

This proposal was rejected by the community. It has not gained consensus and seems unlikely to do so. Per Wikipedia:Policies and guidelines: "A rejected page is any proposal for which consensus support is not present, regardless of whether there's active discussion or not."
  1. Wikipedia policy does not condone discrimination on the basis of race, gender, age, nationality or sexual orientation.
  2. You may go through dispute resolution when you are in a dispute with any other user.
  3. You may appeal any sanction. See WP:ANI, WP:RFAr and User talk:Jimbo Wales.
  4. You may copy and/or distribute any content on Wikipedia, subject to our licensing terms.
  5. You may fork, that is, to copy any or all of Wikipedia's content and use it to start your own Wiki with a compatible license (See Wikipedia:GFDL)
  6. You may leave Wikipedia permanently and entirely at any time for whatever reason.

Some Wikipedia users want to establish a list of rights to which each user is entitled. That proposal was rejected; discussion can be found at this article's talk page and in the archived talk page of Wikipedia:User Bill of Rights.
