[edit] 2000s

Hey, you seem like you have at least a fair sense of what this whole project should look like. Why don't you take a look at the article 2000s? I've just now reverted it, but we've got a well-intentioned editor trying to bring it back to it's form where almost the whole thing was a collection of lists. Take a look at my comments just posted on the talk page, and, after looking at the article both in its one-page form (that I favor) and its 50+ page form (that this new "copyeditor" favors), and then weigh in with your comments. [edit] List of Chilean Jews

There are not millions of red links. There are not even thousands. I suggest that you count them. Further, there is absolutely no reason not to have red links in a list. Indeed, it is encouraged, so that people are aware that articles are needed. I suggest that you look at President of the Royal Statistical Society. This still has plenty of red links. When it was first created, it had many more, but the very existence of the list encouraged people to create articles. Would you have moved for its deletion when it was first created? What you did with Chilean Jews was repeatedly delete names that had not been queried, and indeed some that were referenced. No admin would be prepared to accept this; many would have branded you a vandal. I frequently clean up a bit of mess after new editors, but what you did was not just a bit of a mess. Please do not make major edits unless and until you can do so properly. You may wish to join a mentoring scheme to help you.--Runcorn 22:22, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Please read what I said. I did not accuse you of being a vandal, did I?--Runcorn 22:27, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

Please do not remove content from Wikipedia. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Removing references from blue links, as you did in several cases, is vandalism by any standards. The next time you do that, I shall have to give you a final warning.--Runcorn 22:49, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

OK, Ariel Dorfman for one - who is anyway one of the most famous South American Jews. You really shouldn't make edits without looking what you are doing.--Runcorn 23:39, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not be uncivil

I must point out that your jibe at my username as being somehow "really hard to memorize" is hurtful. it is also obviously untrue, as nobody else on Wikipedia has reported any difficulty.--R613vlu 23:16, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

You're kidding right? I was being playful. You're seriously offended? Usedup 23:23, 20 February 2007 (UTC)

I've responded on my talk page. Cheers, Black Falcon 05:29, 22 February 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Otto Lilienthal

Please do not be so condescending. What makes you think I haven't read TALK:Otto Lilienthal? A publication purporting "to straighten the records of many people whose backgrounds were completely obfuscated during the Nazi Era" is irrelevant, since there are reliable sources predating the Nazis that Lilienthal was Jewish. Please provide proof that any of the references are "official biographies" - official by whose criteria? You cannot verify anything by quoting e-mails; an e-mail is not a verifiable source. I shall continue to ensure that Wikipedia abides by WP:A, which is policy. - Newport 17:12, 1 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sex and intelligence‎

Rather than calling for deletion I think the best thing to do is add more information to this article to help improve it. I tried to do this, even nominating this article for the WP:GS monthly collaboration and adding graphs that show the impact of stereotypes. But I feel I'm working alone in improving this article. Will you join me in this project? futurebird 22:45, 9 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Ionesco and sources on his genealogy

Thank you for your concern. I'm already debating it but apparently I only persuaded the mediator, not the users opening the case. Daizus 12:34, 13 March 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Please do not violate Wikipedia policies

You are in breach of WP:NPA and WP:Civil by falsely accusing me of pestering. If you think that there is a content dispute, please seek mediation.--20.138.246.89 16:27, 23 March 2007 (UTC)

Were your suggestion correct that it is OK to describe someone as pestering and possibly trolling because they are trying to prevent WP:Point violations, would you not be pestering and possibly trolling because of your behaviour?--20.138.246.89 16:39, 23 March 2007 (UTC)
