Released in 1997 directly through MP3.com before it was sold to its' current owner, "Useless and Dumb" was the debut album by Evil Adam. This album was released on driectly to the internet first as MP3 downloads and then made available to purchase as a physical CD later.

In 1997 and 1998 "Godless" , the 3rd song on the debut album Useless and Dumb was the number one song on the Metal charts in New Jersey on MP3.com for over 4 months in a row.

Many songs from this CD can be heard on as soundtrack songs for many Anime DVD's put out by Central Park Media, including the song "Dead Weight" which is used on the trailer for "Night Shift Nurses Vol. 2: Ryn's Revenge".
