Your userpage is for anything that is compatible with the Wikipedia project. It is a mistake to think of it as a homepage: Wikipedia is not a blog, webspace provider, or social networking site

which is taken directly from WP:UP. I've seen a reasonable number of About Me articles which read like a myspace entry userfied to User:Aboutme. This clarifies what shouldn't be there, hopefully.
