USA Volleyball

The United States Volleyball Association (USVBA) is a non-profit organization which serves as the national governing body of volleyball in the United States of America (USA).
Headquartered in Colorado Springs, Colorado and founded originally by the YMCA of the United States of America (USA), this organization is responsible for selecting and supporting US national teams that compete in FIVB sanctioned international volleyball competitions such as the Olympic Summer Games. USA Volleyball is also charged with fostering the development of the sport of volleyball within the United States through involvement with its 40 Regional Volleyball Associations (RVAs).
USA Volleyball is recognized by the Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB) and the United States Olympic Committee (USOC).

Volleyball USA is The official magazine of USA Volleyball. Published four times a year, the magazine provides information regarding the national teams, youth programs, beach, regional and other news. Issues are released in the Spring (Mar), Summer (July), Fall (Sept), Winter (Dec/Jan).

There are forty regions of organized competition for adults and juniors in the United States. Each has its own bylaws but are required to follow the national standards and practices.

- Aloha Region - Hawaii
- Arizona Region - Arizona
- Badger Region - Wisconsin
- Bayou Region - Louisiana
- Carolina Region - North Carolina
- Chesapeake Region - Most of Maryland, Delaware, Washington D.C. and Northern Virginia
- Columbia Empire Region - Representing Oregon and a small southern part of Washington
- Delta Region - Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and western Tennessee
- Evergreen Region - Eastern Washington, northern Idaho and Montana
- Florida Region - Most of Florida (Excluding the panhandle)
- Garden Empire Region - New Jersey, New York City, Long Island, Westchester & Rockland Counties, and a small portion of western Connecticut
- Gateway Region - Southern Illinois and eastern Missouri
- Great Lakes Region - Most of Illinois
- Great Plains Region - Nebraska
- Gulf Coast Region - Southern Alabama, Southern Mississippi, and the Florida panhandle
- Heart of America Region - Kansas, Western Missouri
- Hoosier Region - Indiana
- Intermountain Region - Utah and Southern Idaho
- Iowa Region - Iowa
- Iroquois-Empire Region - Northeast New York State
- Keystone Region - Pennsylvania except the westernmost portion
- Lakeshore Region - Easteren Michigan
- Lone Star Region - South-east Texas
- Moku O Keawe Region - Hawaii
- New England Region - Maine, Vermont, New Hampshire, Massachusetts, Most of Connecticut, and Rhode Island
- North County Region - Minnesota, North Dakota, South Dakota, and the Upper Peninsula of Michigan
- North Texas Region - Northern Texas
- Northern California Region - Northern California and Nevada, except Las Vegas
- Ohio Valley Region - Ohio and the western bordering counties of Pennsylvania and West Virginia
- Oklahoma Region - Oklahoma
- Old Dominion Region - Virginia
- Palmetto Region - South Carolina
- Pioneer Region - Kentucky
- Pudget Sound Region - Western Washington
- Rocky Mountain Region - Colorado and Wyoming
- Southern California Region - Southern California
- Southern Region - Georgia, Alabama and most of Tennessee
- Sun Country Region - West Texas and New Mexico
