USA Equestrian
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
USA Equestrian, or the USAE, was the national governing body of equestrian sport in the United States from 2001 to 2003. Before 2001, the USAE was known as the American Horse Shows Association (AHSA), until a name change to the USAE was performed to better represent the organization's role in the United States. At that time, the organization had over 80,000 individual members and 2,700 member competitions. In 2003, the USAE and the United States Equestrian Team (USET) developed the United States Equestrian Federation (USEF) to take on national governing body responsibilities, and the USAE was dissolved.
