Looks good, but where did that statistic about being the second most popular slogan come from? That's unverified and would keep me from giving it the green light.--Esprit15d 13:00, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
- It wasn't a "statistic." In any case, I removed it. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 17:13, 3 August 2006 (UTC)
-
- "It is one of the best-known American tobacco advertising campaigns." is right at the top -- any refs?
- I also looked into whether Martha was a Tareyton "fighter" in a "print ad" -- the reference isn't clear: she continued a successful modeling career, doing television commercials for Breck, Clairol, Lifebuoy soap and Tareyton cigarettes (no fighting mentioned, also this is tv commercials not print ads)
- MLK Jr section is not referenced either.
- The title is a little odd. How about "Tareyton cigarette advertising campaigns" or something similarly bori....I mean encyclopedic? Justforasecond 07:24, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- The title was how the ad was. I am very firm in not changing it. The MLK Jr. section is referenced by the actual song. You can download it and hear it. Martha was not in a television ad since they started later than the time frame would allow. I really do think this is a lot of nitpicking. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 18:38, 4 August 2006 (UTC)
- The title is fine — the suggested alternative is simply incorrect, because this article is about this one campaign, not Tareyton ads in general. Secondly, it would be nice if we had a citation specifically confirming that King was referencing the ads, but otherwise that section is fine.--SB | T 03:16, 5 August 2006 (UTC)

Great article. These ads are as weird today as they were in the 1960s.
