Dear Joe:
The map, Tapestry In Time, is considered public domain.
Ms. Adonnis Goldstein USGS/ESIC Reston, Virginia --- To: "ask@usgs.gov" <ask@usgs.gov > cc: 02/08/03 09:28 PM Subject: Feedback from USGS Web Pages
Is the following image in the public domain? http://tapestry.usgs.gov/physiogr/phys_p.jpg
Also, what about the other maps having both state boundaries and physiographic subdivisions? I'd like to add these to an open source material provided they are in the public domain or I can get the copyright holder to give permission to wikipedia for these images.
Thanks, Joe
