US5 is a five member Boy Band from Germany. The band was assembled on the German reality TV programme 'Big in America'. They are managed by Lou Pearlman who previously managed boybands Backstreet Boys, 'N Sync and O-Town. Since Lou Pearlman is being sued by the State of Florida and investigated by federal US authorities for a major fraud, there is uncertainty about the band's future. In his last interview with German magazine BRAVO (March 1 issue) Pearlman alleged the case will in no way interfere with the band's career. [1]

On October 20, the first single of the group's second studio album went on sale. The "In The Club" CD has two formats: Maxi and Single. On November 24, the album itself, titled "In Control," was released.
