The Urs at Ajmer, a city in Indian state of Rajasthan , celebrates the death anniversary of Saint Khwaja Moinuddin Chishti with six days of music, fairs and night-long qawwali singing. The anniversary is celebrated in the seventh month of lunar calendar. Thousands of pilgrims visit from all over India and abroad.

Majority of Muslims regard this anniversary in high Esteem .
