Red-lined Earth Snake, Uropeltis rubrolineatus (or Uropeltis rubrolineata), is a species of snake. Distribution: South India (Western Ghats south of the Palghat Gap to Bhimshankar (80 miles N. E. of Poona, at 2,500 feet, fide ALl 1949: 376). Anaimalai and Travancore hills) Type locality: Anamallays, Tinnevellys". [Silybura rubrolineata Günther]
This snake has also been called "Red-lined Shieldtail" and "Travancore Uropeltis."
