Uros Petrovic is an Serbian fantasy author (born April 8, 1967, in Gornji Milanovac, Serbia), best known for his epic fantasy novel Aven (Original title - Aven i jazopas u Zemlji Vauka). He is also generally regarded as one of the finest fantasy writers currently writing in the Serbian language, and has been compared to such diverse figures as J.K. Rowling and Lewis Carroll.
