Urban Vision Entertainment, Inc. works in Japanese animation, known as anime. The company was formed in July 1996 by Mataichiro Yamamoto, and is located in Los Angeles, California. Their goal is to mix an American storyline with Japanese animation. Urban Vision licenses and distributes a darker-mood anime. They work very closely with Madhouse Productions. They also have two other labels: Lil' Vision, which deals with anime for a younger audience, and AsiaVision, their live action Asian movie company.
AsiaVision is a production/distribution company created by Urban Vision, who distributed anime titles such as Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust. Like its anime company, they will focus on the horror, action and thriller of Asian movies.
