Urban Jungle

Urban Jungle is an educational computer game published in Croatia by Autoklub Rijeka and DIR. It's an educational traffic simulator aimed at kids in schools and all others that are about to drive a car. The game is 100% violent-free and it's distributed as freeware in Croatia as it's financed via advergaming concept and with a help of government institutions. The game also promotes human welfare by giving space to the United Nations organisations UNICEF and UNODC for their campaigns. The Urban Jungle game takes place in the virtual copy of the real city - Rijeka, the third largest Croatian city.
The gameplay is simple - players have to deliver goods from point A to point B as fast as possible and yet without making any driving offences. Maybe not as much fun as with arcade racing games, but this is an educational project and it should be reviewed as such - it's valuable for driver's education and road safety.
The HZTK (Croatian Association of Technical Culture) has awarded its annual prize to the Urban Development team. Also, the game has been given The Award For The Improvement Of Innovation by the HGK (Croatian Chamber Of Economy), the Annual City of Rijeka Prize for outstanding contribution to education and promotion of the City of Rijeka and The Croatian Autoclub Annual Award. The Office of the President of Croatia considered this as a great educational project and the Croatian president Mr. Stipe Mesić endorsed it.
Urban Jungle has been developed by Urban Development team and supported and promoted by Kreativni odjel. They welcome any non-profit, educational and human welfare organizations to join the project for common good.
