Urbacodon itemirensis Averianov & Sues, 2007 |
Urbacodon is a genus of troodontid dinosaur, known from a fossilized left dentary (lower jaw bone) and teeth recovered from the Dzharakuduk Formation of Uzbekistan, which dates to the Cenomanian stage of the late Cretaceous Period (about 95 million years ago). The known portion of the lower jaw contained 32 unserrated teeth, a feature shared by some other members of the troodontid family.[1]
