Does anyone know for what reasons this article (still) requires cleanup etc? Arkbar 13:47, 29 August 2006 (UTC)

I did a small clean-up, but it still reads like an unreferenced essay. The city as system and city systems are unreferenced, and are posited as undisputed parts of what Urban Geography constitutes. Many postmodern geographers have confronted theories of city networks --Cooper-42 10:42, 7 September 2006 (UTC)

It depends entirely on your approach, personally I'd argue that even the 'urban realms' and 'keno-capitalism' models of the city accept the notion of the city as network and system, albeit not in the way that it's written in this article Arkbar 22:15, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
