Counties within the North Carolina Region L Council of Governments

The Upper Coastal Plain Council of Governments is one of the 17 regional North Carolina Councils of Governments (Region L) established by the North Carolina General Assembly for the purpose of regional planning and administration. Headquartered in Rocky Mount, North Carolina, it serves Wilson, Nash, Edgecombe, Halifax, and Northampton counties.
