Uppaluris are a tribe originating from Gudivada in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh of India. They belong to the class of Brahmins.
The lineage of noted Uppaluri, U.G. Krishnamurti, is detailed in The Seed Beneath the Volcano. Uppaluri is a last name of many people. Most of them originate from India. Some of them in the Americas are in United States and in there, some live in California and Minnesota. The people there have Uppaluri as a last name.
