Upham or Uphaam is a small village in the south of England located in Hampshire. It has a pub a small village post office and a local primary school. Upham is located approx 7 miles South East of Winchester and local interests include football at the local recreaction ground and evenings out in the local pub, Ther Brushmakers Arms (apparently haunted). Other pubs in the village are the Alma Inn and Green Man. Other features are a pretty village pond, complete with ducks and wonderful walks in the area including part of the Pilgrims Way.
The village is divieded in 2 parts Upham, based around the church to the North and Lower Upham centered on the Village Post Post Office and road.
The village features an antiquated, almost hierarchical social composition, resembling the traditional feudal English village setup, revolving around a few powerful land owners or aristocrats, a significant bourgeoise class and a rural agricultural working class community.
