Up with the Republic (Spanish: Arriba la República), formerly known as Up with Nicaragua (Arriba Nicaragua), is a Nicaraguan political party founded in 1996 by banker Álvaro Robelo.

In year 2000, Robelo joined forces with another banker, Haroldo Montealegre, under the banner of Up with the Republic. They proposed dollarizing the economy, suppressing customs and establishing English as the official second language.

A controversial ally of Robelo was the Andrés Castro United Front (FUAC), a leftist rearmed group. Together with late Edmundo Olivas Córdoba (a.k.a. Camilo Turcios), leader of the FUAC, Robelo went to Lybia and sought support from Gaddafi.[1] [2]

As of 2006, Up with the Republic is in the Sandinista National Liberation Front electoral alliance.
