[edit] Notes
Taken from the inside cover of the E.P's sleeve
Live It Up - was written in Saturday school sophomore year. the first time i preformed it it was in Lithuania. ive lost tough with a friend there names indre. If you know her tell her to write me.
<Hard Hand To Hold - was for a friend of mine - i was trying to tell them it is easier to enjoy company it you aren't worrying about self-preservation, be it ego or otherwise. turns out it was mostly for myself cause i find the older i get the harder it is to remember.
Waiter At The Station - was a song my folks wrote about a frozen body they saw in south station.
Not Lie Down - was written sometime in the middle of the night in a lonely bed on 13th street where id been catsitting to accommodate a week of gigs in New York.
Oxygen - was written for my music theory class senior year. thats about all i can safely say about that, except that the second verse was written in jimmies bobcat just before Eddie reminded me not to space out when theres stone in the bucket. I remembered it though, and finished it on the walk home.
i guess this is gonna be the last pressing of this e.p. it is the first recording of mine to be mass produced. not that this makes any difference to you except that you wont have to worry about the cover peeling off. I've been living in a donkey barn for the last week of so and its the longest I've spent in one place for nearly a year. i don't think it will last much longer either, though I'll miss my friends. no, I'll be moving on down the road and i hope to see you there. take care -
