Unterseeboot C-5 (also known as UC-5) was a German U-boat built for the Kaiserliche Marine. She was commissioned June 19, 1915, at Hamburg. She served in World War I under the command of Herbert Pustkuchen (June 1915 - December 1915) and Ulrich Mohrbutter (December 1915 - April 1916). UC-5 had an impressive career, with 29 ships sunk for a total of 36,288 tons on 29 patrols. She ran aground while on patrol April 27, 1916 and was scuttled.
