Unterseeboot 43

Unterseeboot 43 or U-43 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War and the Second World War.

• The first Unterseeboot 43, a submarine, served with the Kaiserliche Marine during the First World War, participating in the First Battle of the Atlantic.
  • During the First World War, Germany also possessed the submarines:
    • Unterseeboot B-43, built in 1916 and surrendered in 1918.
    • Unterseeboot C-43, built in 1916 and sunk in 1917.

• The second Unterseeboot 43, a submarine, served with the Kriegsmarine during the Second World War, participating in the Second Battle of the Atlantic.
