Unterseeboot 31

Unterseeboot 31 or U-31 has been the name of several German submarines or U-boats during the First World War, the Second World War and in the reunified navy, Deutsche Marine.

• Unterseeboot 31 (1914) was a submarine built in 1914 for service in the First World War, and lost in 1915.
  • During the First World War, Germany also possessed the submarines:
    • Unterseeboot B-31, built in 1916 and sunk in 1918.
    • Unterseeboot C-31, built in 1916 and surrendered in 1918.

• Unterseeboot 31 (1936) was a submarine built in 1936, and sunk in 1940 during the Second World War.

• Unterseeboot 31 (S181) is a Type 212 submarine of the Deutsche Marine, built in 2002, and still in service today.
